The aquaculture trout is a healthy, safe, controlled fish that needs clear and clean waters to grow and develop; it is in fact used a "thermometer" to test the good quality of the waters it lives in. For this reason modern fish-breeding plants are located close to springs, streams and resurgences, from which they take the most suitable water for the correct growth of the trout. Also, aquaculture fish is extremely safe, as it undergoes periodical tests by the ASL operators and by other public health services, unlike the catch, whose origin and habitat are not always guaranteed.
Growing well is essential.
In the Italian fish-breeding plants, the trout is fed with fish and vegetable flours, that is with products deriving from the kind of food fish would usually find in nature. It is also important to mention that aquaculture fish is looked after by veterinarians during the entire growth process, which takes from 15 to 36 months
Food is important.
A regular consumption of fish, at least once or twice a week, is advisable not only for those on a low-fat diet, but also for anyone who wishes to keep to a healthy diet to keep good health without much resorting to medicines. The trout, in particular, thanks to its flesh poor of cholesterol and polynsaturates fats (among which the Omega 3), absent in other kinds of flesh, is ideal both for keeping triglycerides (fats) controlled and for maintaining our blood more fluid, thus reducing the danger of cardiovascular diseases
A few words on taste.
Not only is the aquaculture trout highly digestible thanks to its tender and firm flesh, but it also arrives always incredibly fresh on our tables because it is taken from the fish-breeding plants everyday according to the amounts required on the market.
Thanks to its low-fat flesh, trout can be consumed much more than other food like cheese, salami or red meat. In this way, your sense of satiety is safe … and your figure too
A glance at time-saving.
Having a trout for lunch or dinner is an excellent idea, especially for those who have little time to cook and those who are not expert cooks. Modern aquaculture plants, in fact, nowadays offer not only the entire fish, but also cleaned and sliced trout as well as packed fish no bones. The trout can easily become the protagonist of quick and simple recipes, among which try the salt trout or the pizza-flavoured trout slices… the recipes are here for you.
"In consideration of its excellent organoleptic qualities, of its proven nutrition properties and its preventive action against cardiovascular diseases, I consider the trout as an excellent alternative to traditional flesh and I suggest it to people who wish to keep good health without much resorting to medicines. In particular, I believe that aquaculture trout can guarantee such high safety, control and hygiene levels that I feel like suggesting it to anyone who wishes to keep to a healthy and correct diet."
